Unity Church of Lake Murray is a welcoming new church in Chapin, SC, dedicated to lead our community into a transforming relationship with each other, so that everyone in our community and beyond can live a life worthy of the calling of God according to God’s true inerrant Word.
Our Senior Pastor, Dr. Daniel Hagmaier has been widely recognized for preaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ and bringing many people to our Lord and Savior. Dr. Hagmaier has been instrumental in turning troubled churches around across the nation and restoring them to strong ministries. This has taken him to churches across our nation four times. In 2008, Dr. Hagmaier was called to be a two year Designated Senior Pastor at Covenant Presbyterian Church in Fort Myers. The church had gone through a horrific split, and in two years, God brought 144 new members, tripled the choir, and doubled the attendance. Dr. Hagmaier has an infectious manner to invite men and women and young people into a personal relationship with Christ.
Dr. Hagmaier is the founding pastor of Unity Church of Lake Murray, which has grown to 221 members in just over a year. He has a Master’s Degree from Pittsburgh Theological Seminary and a Doctorate from Columbia Theological Seminary. Dr. Hagmaier is married to Jaye J. and they enjoy socializing, dancing, traveling, and spending time with our wonderful congregation.
